Materials and design of the sauna
The load-bearing frame of the modular sauna is made of thermally treated pine timber of the first class. Thermal modification of wood is carried out at a temperature of 175°С.
The main advantages of such treatment are:
— moisture protection (modified wood absorbs and gives back moisture equally quickly);
— biosecurity (modified wood
is of no interest for insects);
— geometric stability;
— natural humidity of +/- 4%.
The decorative finishing is made of beveled siding board of thermally treated pine wood (2nd class of treatment at 190°С). When finishing, WOLNA hidden fasteners (galvanised steel with stiffening ribs) are used.
Glazing.
Panoramic windows are manufactured
of aluminium profile (warm frame),
40 mm double-glazed window, tempered glass!
For exterior finishing the following is used:
— OSB board (advantage: geometric stability);
— Finka 160 Premium wind and waterproof membrane;
— roof and back wall of the sauna are protected with Clickfals Grand premium roofing panel. The panel thickness is 0,5 mm double galvanised.
Interior wall finishing:
— wall heat insulation: PIR 50 mm heat insulator (LOGICPIR);
— roofing heat insulation: PIR 50 mm + 50 mm penoplex heat insulator (LOGICPIR );
— flooring heat insulation: PIR 50 mm heat insulator (LOGICPIR);
The decorative interior finishing
is made of black alder wood of "Extra" grade (profile of 15*65 mm). The sweating shelves are made of "Extra" grade thermally treated lime wood, processed at 190°С.
Floor finishing: porcelain stoneware 60*60 sm, with thickness of 8 mm (manufactured in Spain), laid on cement-bonded particle board with prior waterproofing. The hamburger skirting board is also manufactured of porcelain stoneware around the entire perimeter.
The main advantages of the modular sauna:
MINIMUM WEIGHT of the sauna compared to competing saunas. This is caused by the use of thermally treated wood not only in the decorative
finishing, but also in the frame.
HIGH ENERGY EFFICIENCY.
Due to the use of innovative materials and PIR heat insulator, all the heat is retained inside the sauna.
PRACTICALITY (transportation, installation, time).
— The sauna is already finished and manufactured in dimensions designed for transportation on trucks with standard trailers or containers. The sauna is fitted with specially designed fixtures for cranes and manipulators
— The weight of the sauna itself significantly reduces the cost of transportation (as the cost is calculated not only by volume, but also by weight).
— The lower the weight, the cheaper the cost of constructing a pile field for the sauna.
ENVIRONMENTAL FRIENDLINESS.
Thermally treated wood is unattractive to insects and requires no additional treatment compared to untreated wood, which requires subsequent periodic treatment with chemicals to preserve it from the environment and insects.
